Description:

I loved the idea of the "Captured Fairy" jar, so I decided to do another one, but with Woodland Fairy Tale Creatures instead. (I hope its ok to "borrow" the idea from the creators of the fairy swap!)

The idea is simple..

  1. Find a jar. A minimum of 16OZ.

  2. Find a creature to live in the jar: elf, fairy, troll, gnomes....you can also add other animals as well: deer, wolves, squirrels, birds... You can alter any pictures, figures, whatever you like!

  3. Decorate and fill the inside of the jar with whatever the creature needs to survive (a kind of home away from home feel). Please be sure to make sure everything is secure. The jar may be handled roughly while in transit! Also, decorate the outside of the jar.

  4. Write a brief description of the creature you have captured. What is his/her name? Where is he/she from? What does he/she like to do? What does he/she like to eat? This is so that it's new owner/friend will know how to care for the creature and give a good home!

That is all!

Please be sure to make it beautiful and fun!

This is a USA/Canada swap. (If this goes well, I will do another one for international)

You must have a rating of 4 or higher with 3 completed mail swaps. No recent no sends. This swap takes some time and thought so I reserve the right to ban. Profiles must be completely filled out.

Thanks and happy creating!

Sweet idea! I like the idea of using figures instead off pics! You are awesome Myredumbrella!

I'm very interested in this swap...great idea..... but how would clear plastic work for the jar? Less postage because it's lighter and less likely of getting broken.......or even another container that could be altered to give a window view inside..... would that work, or must it be a glass jar??

any jar would work..just make sure your partner can see what is inside!
