Let's say 10" minimum, 15" max for the size. Send stuffed please. I'm going to leave plenty of time to make your masterpiece, but please only sign up if you can complete the swap. Send on time and rate promptly please. Mostly, have fun with the swap and send something that you would be ecstatic to receive and proud to send out.

picture is one from Junker Jane's website, listed above

Due to size, I'm keeping this one US/Canada, but please feel free to host an international and use my description if you'd like to.

Just to be clear, how would you define these dolls?

I think that would be helpful -- I assumed that they were made of used dolls and found objects with some new elements, got all excited and found some GREAT elements .... then got scared that maybe they were new made to look old? I am so excited to make my version of one :)

It looks more to me that it's more like new made to look old. So kinda like a random bunch of fabrics put together to make something that looks wacky and fabulous. That would be my take on it anyway. If anyone has made one and wants to chime in, we'd all love some more feedback :)

I made one before and had a "new made to look old" mindset with mine. And upcycling. I used a bit of felted sweater and the end of a fugly tie from goodwill and some fake fur for a mustache. I ended up with a neat doll that I called George V. Even gave him a name tag using a plastic badge holder I found while cleaning out the supply closet at my job. Very fun project.
