Embroidery Hoop Art Swap

For this swap you will create an embroidery design inside a hoop for your partner (if you don't have a embroidery hoop they are about 2$ at Michaels). The one in the image of the swap is an example I created.

The embroidery you create will be inspired by your partner’s profile, so pick something you think they will like. You can create your own design or copy a design you see online.But please rate 5 as long as you receive an embroidery that meets the requirements, even if you don't end up liking the design (I'm sure your partner tried their best).

Try to make use of the whole hoop as much as possible, you don’t need to fill in the background entirely but don’t just have one tiny little image inside a sea of white space. Also note this is embroidery and not cross-stitch. Your design may include some text but it should be a minor element in the design, just for accenting like in the sample images, it should not be the main focus of the design. Feel free to add things like bits of fabric or buttons to your design if you wish (but it is not required).

All designs should be made using a 6in hoop with extra fabric to finish the back still attached because we will REMOVE THEM from the hoop and mail them unfinished without a hoop so that they are cheaper and less bulky to mail and then the receiver will pop the embroidery they receive into the same sized hoop they already have and finish the back themselves.

Rating requirement is 4.95, Must have a well filled out profile. No one with current 1’s or unexplained 3’s allowed. I will look at everyone’s profile and rating before assigning partners and reserve the right to ban anyone I feel is a bit dodgy or does not meet the above.

Remember make sure you use a 6in hoop and remove the hoop before sending!
