Description:

I put the word cards in quotation marks because you will make the journal cards. These should be at least ATC/playing card size - 2.5 x 3.5 inches. You can go as large as 3 x 4 inches. These are meant to be added your junk journal pages with space for writing and captions.

You can use decorated (by you!) card stock, index cards, playing cards, found/free flyers, postcards, advertisements. Add gesso, tape, sprays or ink but leave some room for writing. You can add lines or not. Make them similar or make them each different. This is sender's choice.

Recap - 6 hand-made, hand-decorated journal cards to one partner.

Does any one have some of these on their flicker page? i'm new in the group and would like to know if I'm doing the right thing. Thanks

You can just search for journal cards on Pinterest or Google. I mean little bits of card/paper that can be used for writing, especially if you use lots of photos or 3-D embellishments on your pages.

You can use things like library book cards, tags, index cards, watercolor paper, bristol paper, card stock or cardboard from cereal boxes. Then paint/decorate/collage - leaving room for writing.

Hope this helps.
