Description:

It is surprising how many candys and candy bars still out there were first made before 1950, some in the late 1800's like Tootsie Rolls made in 1896. For this swap make one ATC for one partner using the wrapping or packaging of a candy originally made before 1950. Just google retro candy and you can get a lengthy listing of candies made before 1950. The ATC must have the following requirements;
1. Use at least part of wrapper or packaging of chosen candy (can be the foil wrapping used as a background or anything on it for a feature part of your ATC).
2. Have a vintage element (like stamping or vintage photo. I used a vintage phone booth in my sample, Vintage M&M Steampunk).
3. Have at least one type of theme like color (I used red and Steampunk gears), travel, love, party theme, anything that adds to your candy. Can be historic candy theme, like 'Oh Henry,' named after the cute deliver/pick-up guy that came to get the candy.
4. It must be clear/obvious what candy you are using for your ATC.
You can use embellishments, bling, glitter, anything else you want on it. This is sender's choice. Tell your partner the name of the candy, theme and why you chose that candy bar. Years ago I did a candy ATC and it was a lot of fun. So thanks to the host for my vintage version of her candy ATC swap.
