Description:

Don't we all love international chocolate swaps? This swap makes sure you will receive an interesting assortment of chocolate (at least 300g in total) from a country not your own!

When signing up, please state in the comments your country (I will only allow one participant per country so everybody sends and receives internationally) and your chocolate preferences (white? milk? dark?) as well as any flavor preferences and, of course, allergies if you have any.

Please make this section clear enough so your partner will know what you like and what you don't like so much. But also, please don't make this section so restrictive it will be near-impossible to fulfill. If you only eat pepper-cranberry flavored vegan white chocolate manufactured at full moon, this might not be the swap for you. Same if you have multiple allergies (bonus points if you are in fact allergic to chocolate) and your partner would have to buy special products from a special health food store. Be reasonable! Your partner needs to be able to go into a normal supermarket and buy the chocolate.

After partners are assigned, you will send your partner several bars of chocolate (at least 300g in total) according to your partner's preferences. Please try to send a nice variety (sending several bars of the same chocolate would be dull!) and avoid the international brands that can be bought everywhere. Send local products! :)

This is an expensive swap, so please understand I can't allow newbies here. To join here, you should have at least 20 rated type 3 (or equivalent uncategorized) swaps. (If you're new and want to earn ratings, you can contact me about a private swap anytime.) If you have any bad ratings, I will look at them and decide individually. To keep things safe, when I'm in doubt (anything irregular going on with a profile), I'll rather drop that swapper and offer a private swap or something. Known flakers and/or troublemakers will be dropped immediately without further discussion. I'm really sorry this section is necessary.

I like all kinds of chocolate (white, milk and dark) – basically, I will eat anything. I like all kinds of nuts and I love peanuts (peanut butter yay!) and pistachios. I like all kinds of cream fillings, caramel and nougat. And I also love spicy chocolate – ginger, pepper, chili, anything like that. I absolutely LOVE salted chocolate! I like to try unusual flavors and local specialties. I don’t have any allergies and I’m looking forward to what you make of this info. I’m sure I’ll love it! (If there's something weird in the chocolate aisle and you're asking yourself who's ever going to eat THAT - that's me! XD)

Hello from England!

I really like milk and dark chocolate made on a full moon if possible! ( only joking for the last bit!!)😊

I like my milk chocolate creamy and/or nutty( as in made with cream) I like my dark chocolate high in cocoa and in any flavour under the sun! I also like a bit of crunch ( biscuits and dried fruit in the chocolate)

WHAT I DON' T LIKE AT ALL: white chocolate and any fruity fillings ( like strawberry cream filled chocolates) I am not keen on caramel, especially runny caramel, it is too sweet . That' S it really! Thank you!🍪🍫😊

I like milk chocolate, dark chocolate can be okay if it's not too dark (i.e. High cocoa percent). I really like something in my chocolate like crispies, wafers, fruity flavors, etc. I don't like nuts, but I love hazelnuts and macadamia nuts. I don't like white chocolate.

I also like wafers and dried fruit and raisins. I am not so crazy about dark chocolate and white chocolate.

I prefer milk chocolate. I like it just plain or with biscuits or nuts or coconut or raisins or caramel... But not so much with fruit.
