Going Postal - Mail Art Outside The Box

I'm totally thrilled about a new book that I just got. Good Mail Day, talks about the adventures of creating and shipping mail art, i'm fascinated so I have to share this book with you all. I'll create a series of swaps based on ideas from this book.

Have you ever wanted to test the limits of the postal system? Have you ever wondered if mail could actually be to odd to ship? If you've ever wanted to mail something strange like an unwrapped roll of toilet paper, then this swap is for you.

You'll have plenty of time to hash out an idea, make it and ship it. Please be committed to the swap. Step outside your comfort zone and LET'S GO POSTAL.

You will have 1 partner

You will find (and embellish) or make some art, skies the limit here. REALLY think OUTSIDE the box and assemble something outrageous. Don't spend a ton of money because it may be lost into the abyss, but do put forth some effort because it may actually be delivered.

Your art must have a surface for the address and postage.

Your art must be shipped naked

You must send on time to join the next phase of the swap.

After you receive your item please post in this thread the results, tell what you got and what condition it was in, if you can post a pic please do. We can use images for future swaps, they'll make good reference points. Also please know that the results of this swap may vary and some items may be lost into the abyss, if you join, please allow your partner to attempt to send again. Our goal is to successfully swap with a partner while testing the total limit of the post office. Please rate based on receipt as opposed to how you felt about what you got, also contact your partner to resend if you don't get anything, before rating.
