Description:

This swap is a newbie friendly swap. However, if you are new to the site, please read the requirements carefully.

Requirements:

  • Newbies welcome with a well filled out profile. I don't expect a novel but a single paragraph isn't a well filled out profile. Please make sure to tell us all the kinds of things you like. An example of this is that I like gothic things so I once received washi tape with skulls. If I hadn't included that information, I would have never received that wonderful tape!

  • I will be reviewing profiles fully before assigning partners and removing anyone who has low ratings that do not appear to have been resolved or bring up concerns.

  • Minimum rating 4.89 - no unresolved 1's or 3's. I reserve the right to make exceptions and will angel after the original sender has been contacted and rated a 1.

  • This is a US Only swap. If the swap goes well, I will host an international one next.

  • No Dollar Store Washi please

About the swap:

For this swap you will send 4 washi tape samples to 2 partners. That is 8 samples total. They should be at least 12 inches each wrapped on a surface that the tape can be removed from (such as a playing card or a used up gift card. Anything laminated or smooth usually works).

For the envelope, decorate it using washi tape. It doesn't have to be the same tape that you sent but there should be washi tape someplace on the envelope. :)

Make sure to include your name and the swap name in the envelope.

You have lost 3 people already because of not assigning partners!!! I am ready for mine!!

rayce 05/ 7/2016 #

I apologize for not assigning them sooner. I usually try to do this first thing at 6am. I think I'll avoid having the first day of the swap be on a weekend for future so I can make sure to do this faster.

Wow...not everyone is up at the Crack of dawn on a satirday, I've been in swaps where the coordinator didn't assign for a day or wven 2 or 3 days after the ability to do so was opened and I have never complained because people have REAL LIVES to handle especially on weekends. It's just mail...not brain surgery. She didn't kill anyone.

@rayce you are just fine. Thank you for assigning partners this morning :)

Thanks @rayce for setting up the swap and running it :)

@MrsVonOtto and @ohhedgehogs - Thank you both for your words of support. :)

Hey @rayce ... I think you're wonderful for hosting this swap. Thanks for all the work that goes into it. Gee whiz, what do people want? The swap sign up just only closed yesterday. Maybe we can all practice a bit more patience in this hectic world of ours. Hmmm?

Thank you @KYCrafter I really appreciate it. I wasn't really sure what the rush is since the deadline is a week out but I adjusted my future swaps so they don't require I be up so early on the weekend to keep people from dropping.
