Description:

Do you have a bunch of note cards and no one to send them to? If that sounds like you, this is the swap to join!

The Deets

This swap is super simple and low stress: Take a note card from your stash and use it to write a note to your partner. What you write is up to you. Write about your cat. Your dog. Your parrot. Write about that hot hunk you saw on the bus - or at least thought he was hot, until he turned around and you saw he had "Ladies Man" tattooed on his cheek. The topic is your choice - it's all good.

No cheating What does that mean? You can't just write down your favorite quote, sign your name, and call it a day. Write a real note - you can do it!

In other words, NO QUOTES!

Remember - this is low stress! That means you are not required to decorate the envelope, include a flat surprise, or a tea bag. Hey, if you want to do it, go ahead - however, you are not at all required to do so.

The Pesky Rules:

  • Be sure to include your swap-name and name of swap in the note card!

  • Newbies must have a well-filled out profile!

  • No recent 1's or 3's. In fact, probably no 1's at all - but if you had a retaliatory 1 or an unfair 1 from a few years ago, we'll talk. I'm an understanding gal... to a point! :)

  • No APO/FPO addresses - stateside addresses only please.

WORTH MENTIONING

Remember, not all newbies follow-through (unfortunately). You takes yer chances with this swap - but I will angel. If you don't get your note card, let me know and also contact your swap-partner. We'll do our best as a team to get this resolved before having to resort to the dreaded 1 rating.

While I tend not to have a minimum rating posted on my swaps, be forewarned - I do check profiles. I check to see if there are comments to low ratings (and sometimes even email your partner to see if you attempted to make it right), I check dashboards to see if there are swaps with past due dates, and also try to keep abreast of the people I consider "takers" - you know, the people who are all over RAKs in the forums, but never offer up any themselves.

If you fall into any of the above categories, it's highly doubtful that you'll make the cut!

Fairly quick turnaround One week to sign up, one week to write and send!
