Description:

This is the third in a monthly poetry series for those members who love to write poetry (and those who want to try!).

September is month three and the theme for September is Autumn. Explore the textures, colours, scents, and seasonal changes of autumn with words! All aspects of the theme are open and respected, as are all levels of writing.

The Administrative Details:

  • Write a minimum 6 line poem about autumn. 1 poem to 1 partner.

  • Any style of poetry is fine.

  • The poem may be one you have written previously that you would like to dust off, revisit, and revise for this swap. This is honour system based obviously, but we would hope that you don't just print off something you wrote in 7th grade and call it a day.

  • Poems must be typewritten (you can handwrite the drafts if you're more comfortable writing poetry that way, but the final product must be typed up).

  • Use of pretty/decorative paper is optional.

The Rules of the Road:

  • Send on time.

  • Rate promptly and fairly. You cannot rate down because you didn't like what you received or disagreed with the topic if it meets the requirements of the swap otherwise. Remember, we are all at different skill levels here.

Note: We will remove non-raters from the group if this becomes an issue (I don't expect that it will be). Hearts are at the discretion of the rater.

  • I certainly don't expect anyone to flake in this swap but if that does happen, please let me know after you rate a 1 and I will angel. Please note that anyone who flakes will be immediately removed from this group
