Description: | |
Six years ago I hosted two swaps that I had intended to become a series. They were "make and fill a cupcake shaped box and make and fill a fry box" swaps. I never got the chance to continue the series but thought it would be cool to at least set up a similar swap for Halloween. Due to the hike in postage since this type of swap was last done I will need to keep it as a USA only unlike six years ago when it was possible to set it up international. Here are the details: 5 rating Must have at least 15 type 3 swaps done Must be able to make the boxes yourself (template is provided linked in this description) 1 partner 2 treat boxes in one mailing package Please print out both boxes found at the link for the templates and make both. Get the template here Make sure you click on the download icon and open with Adobe to print these box templates. When the print box opens mark off the fit to page option so they will come out the right size one to a sheet. If you try to print directly from the linked page without downloading and opening in Adobe they will not print out correctly in size. Printing on card stock is best however, if you print on plain paper you will still need to glue the template to something sturdy before putting them together. Decorating the boxes is not necessary but you can if you want to. Once your boxes are made and dried you can start to fill them up with little goodies that fit inside. Not all the items you put inside HAVE to be Halloween themed but you MUST have at least four items (2 to a box) that are. Goodies can be and are not limited to: Tea Light Candles Incense Cones (check for allergies) Gemstones or Crystals Metaphysical Altar Items (for those who are pagan/wiccan..check profiles) Themed Items (no cheap plastic Halloween toys please) Note Cards Stickers Ribbon Candy (check for allergies) Teas or other drink mixes (check for allergies) Mini Plushies inchies Mini envies Ephemera Scrapping Supplies Keychains Beads Jewelry Mini book or journal Blind Bag Size Toys (like Tsum Tsum, My Little Pony, etc.) Felt Fabric Nail Polish & Other Nail supplies Yarn Needle Books Soap Bath salts or other pampering goods Or any other items you can think of Sender's choice but it is ok to check profiles for likes, dislikes and especially allergies. Once your boxes are filled make sure they are secure so the contents don't go spilling out all over inside the mailing package. Please do not send "junk". This has a different meaning to different people but basically do not send old, dirty nasty items that you don't want or would use or want to receive yourself. Do not send trash like used wrappers and the like or anything broken. I will check profiles so please make sure you have them filled out and no 1's or 3's that are unresolved. With a 5 rating you shouldn't have any of these anyway. You will have 4 weeks to make, fill and ship your swap from the deadline sign up date before it's time to officially ship. This means that you can ship out your swap before the ship deadline hits but not after that date. If something happens where you are running late with the swap (which I hope does not happen to anyone) you MUST communicate with your partner and myself. I WILL NOT ANGEL!! Also remember that you are not suppose to rate according to if you liked or didn’t like what you received. If you check the swap-bot FAQS you will find this information there. Your ratings are as follows: 5 you received and it fit the swap requirements according to what is posted here on the swap info page 3 you received something but it didn’t fit/follow the requirements of the swap as stated here on the swap info page 1 you didn’t receive anything, which I do hope does not happen. COMMUNICATION IS KEY!!! |
