Yeah, I know it's not kosher to change the send date at the last minute, but it wasn't until I was arranging shipments at work today that I realized it was a postal holiday. And since the swap doesn't require anything specific to a trip to the window at the post office, it's entirely possible to send today. Unless one is out of postcard or other stamps and expected to purchase today, or if one required a trip to the bank to cash/deposit a check to purchase the requisite postage, or if since the children went to school today there was no hint that any exception in the routine would occur today. So, please, if your partner marks sent on October 11, rather than October 10, please be understanding. On October 10 (Columbus Day), I edited the swap from a send by date of October 10 to a send by date of October 11, to accommodate a federal holiday observed by all post offices, most banks, and many state and local offices.
