Cup O' Joe Swap
Swap Coordinator:centralperky31 (contact)
Swap categories: Miscellaneous
Number of people in swap:3
Location:Other
Type:None
Last day to signup/drop:November 1, 2008
Date items must be sent by:December 1, 2008
Number of swap partners:1
Description:

US ONLY.

This swap involves finding either a nice coffee cup with saucer or a cool mug for your partner, and filling it with both craft and non-craft items. Everything must be somehow coffee-themed: be it coffee stickers, coffee notecards, magnets, or things that taste/smell of coffee (some ideas are hard candy, candles etc). You should have both store-bought AND handmade items, but there's no specific amount of either to be included.

Please take the time to email your partner to ask for any particular things they like - for example, a cat owner might enjoy a feline mug etc - and dislike. I would really like EVERYONE to get a swap they totally love!! :)

Minimum $15. Please do NOT send things that are broken, tacky or otherwise dirty, smelly or something that any reasonable person would consider throwing away. It's sad that I have to put this in here, but I speak from experience!

Packages MUST be sent with Priority Mail; delivery confirmation is optional but highly recommended. PLEASE make sure you wrap everything carefully to make sure nothing breaks - and let's all make an effort to make this as special, fun and chock-full of goodies as anything we'd want to get ourselves!!

No no-sends in the last 6 months; no rating of less than 4.9. Must have at least 15 completed mail (not online) swaps.

Feel free to ask questions & have fun with it! :)

I have to say that while I love (LOVE!) the idea of this swap, I do not love being told that I "have" to send Priority Mail. More than likely the weight of the swap will force me to use Priority, but I think it's unfair to make it a requirement, especially with what postage is running these days.

Still - love the swap anyway. :)

PS. I'd prefer a coffee mug and not much in the way of crafty stuff, beyond stickers or stationery items.

Ladies - I'm sorry that I haven't been able to assign partners sooner. I recently had a good friend go through a miscarriage and have been spending all my time with her and her family. Thank you for understanding. Chrissy
