Description:

I wanted to try to host a Canada-only swap, since they seem to be few and far between and Canada Post international postage is becoming SO expensive lately!

For this swap, you will have one partner, and you will fill a flat envelope with 2D items from their profile. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you read your partner's profile carefully and thoroughly!

GUIDELINES:

This is a PROFILE-BASED swap. Everything you send your partner must be something based on what they have listed on their profile as something they like or something they hope to receive.

However, do not expect to receive a package or send a package - this is a FLAT MAIL swap, so everything you send should fit in a flat envelope and be able to be sent through Canada Post flat mail (isn't too thick to fit through the specified postal slot, etc.).

You must send your partner between 4-7 flat items. (If you want to send more, feel free, but that is the minimum # of items to fulfill swap guidelines and receive a rating of 5.)

New or good-condition items only. (For example, washi samples are fine if your partner lists washi in their profile "likes", even though they aren't technically "new". Sheets of stationery or notecards from sets are fine as long as they are unused; "new" does not mean you have to send a whole set.)

Please no handmade items unless your partner specifically requests certain handmade things on his/her profile.

Some examples of items you might include are tea bags (if one or two would still make the envie flat enough to send as flat mail), notecards, stationery (letter paper, envies, etc.), new/full sticker sheets, washi samples, thin/flat beauty samples, postcards, paper scraps/flat ephemera, journal cards, diecuts, recipes, tags/labels, bookmarks, etc. -- BUT REMEMBER, some of these items might be on your partner's DISLIKE list, so again, make sure to thoroughly read your partner's profile before adding anything to the envelope! If you are in doubt or think your partner's profile doesn't give you enough info to know what to send, please contact your partner via Swap-Bot PM and hopefully s/he will get back to you.

Please try your very best to make the envelope something your partner will completely love to receive! I know most of us have had swaps in the past where we have received things that fulfilled the swap guidelines, but were completely not to our personal taste or liking and were therefore disappointing. I wanted to host this swap so that your partners will be GUARANTEED to love what they receive!

WHO CAN JOIN THIS SWAP?

CANADIANS ONLY! Time to take advantage of a Canada-only swap and know that postage will be relatively low!

Newbies with fully filled-out profiles are welcome, as long as they have logged in within a day of the time I will assign partners.

All participants should have no recent 1 or 3 ratings. Anyone who joins who has recent ratings of 1 or 3 will be banned unless they can provide good explanation.

No participants should have any late/pending swaps that they are already in and have not sent.

NO FLAKERS! I may not be able to angel this swap, but if anyone is flaked on, please contact me (after rating your partner with a 1) and I will try my best to either angel the swap myself or find another participant who is willing to angel. Hopefully no one will end up in this situation!

Please PM me or leave a message in the comments below if you have any questions or concerns and I will try to reply ASAP!
