Description:

Where did October go? November is now approaching fast. I see lots of yummy food and family in the future. So much to be Thankful for! That beautiful Fall has definitely arrived and painted everything in spectacular colors and the cool crisp weather brings a feeling of refreshment to the Earth. It is now time to sign up for that monthly Inchie Swap celebrating all of those silly, unusual, and respected days that we do or can celebrate throughout the year. And most we have never heard of, but they certainly make fun inchies.

Our topic for this swap is: Any day, week, or event that can be celebrated in November.

The link below will take you to a calendar of Bizarre and Unique Holidays that take place in November: There are once again so many good ones to choose from this month that I am indeed going to have a hard time choosing just 6.

November, 2016 Bizarre and Unique Holidays

Please label what holiday you chose on the inchie back and sign and date it. Use sturdy materials, vintage images, photos, or illustrations and embellishments to create work that you are proud to make and your partner will be proud to own.

The image example above is October created by the very talented artist Donetta Farrington. I would really love to see the inchies that the rest of you are making. Please share with us and post them to the Flickr Vintage Cafe Group. And we are gradually getting more people joining in this fun and I can say that certainly makes me happy. You are all awesome. The celebrated days Donetta used above are: National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month; National Breast Cancer Awareness Month; 10/1: National Homemade Cookies Day; and 10/1: World Vegetarian Day. Her other two were just as adorable.

Since this is an international swap you can use days that are celebrated in November anywhere in the world; do your own search or just use the above link.

You can do all of your inchies with just one subject such as Halloween Inchies or use a different day of celebration for each inchie. The choice is yours and you can get started as soon as you sign up, because this is not a profile swap.

Have fun, do not Flake and please remember to rate.
