IS: Use your second favourite piece of ephemera

Now, I'm not a monster. That's why you should only use your second favourite piece of ephemera, because we're all saving our favourite for that occasion that will never arise, right? Well, I am, and I don't care who knows it.

Vintage and/or antique ephemera only, genuine only: nothing younger than 1975.

Get that lovely piece of ephemera out. Gaze at it; stroke it; sniff it. Tell it how much you love it. And then pay it the ultimate compliment: make it into a piece of art. You can do it. You can put glue or paint on it and send it to a stranger. It's ephemera: that's the definition of the word.

And afterwards, use your favourite piece to make something for yourself or someone you love (this bit is left to your discretion, but I think it's the more important part).
