How fun! Thanks Leslie for setting this up.

I think this will be a neat way to get to "know" some other Fiber Femmes!

I've only done one swap before and it was so much fun. It's a great way to make new friends with the same fiber addictions we all have! Thanks so much for getting this going.

This is going to be great fun! Looking forward to getting to know other Fiber Femmes.

Amen to all of the above comments. I've done several swaps - and one was the Interweave summer project with several trades and secret pals. Lots of fun - with a great opportunity to see what everyone else was doing.

I'm new to swapping, but it seems like a great idea, especially as a way to get to know other fiber addicts. www.sanguinegryphon.blogspot.com

Ruth, from South Dakota, sent me a delightful box of goodies, thanks Ruth!

A box of Tazo Assorted Teas and Herbal Infusions include: Awake, Calm,China Green Tips, Earl Grey, Tazo Chai, Passion, Decaff Tazo Chai, Wild Sweet Orange, Lotus and Zen. I've always wanted to try this brand and now's my chance. I'll start with the Chai as spiced tea is my favorite.

A couple of months ago I sent Aunt Esther a box of goodies including Cacao Reserve by Hershey's drinking cocoa. It's hard to find around here but she was feeling low and, let's face it, a little mail surprise is always a good boost for the spirits. Anyway, I'd not be able to find another box until now.

Ruth, how did you know! Ruth sent the exact same thing and a bar of Cacao Reserve, 65% Cacao extra dark chocolate. YUMEO! I adore dark chocolate and will have a great time eating this special treat.

And, last but certainly not least...the yarn. Some 240 yards of Merino dyed with Wilton dyes in a, predominately, green with some lighter streaks throughout. Almost light enough to be yellow...but not quite. It's beautiful yarn, very nicely spun and will give me hours of pleasure...both figuring out what to knit and then knitting.

Many thanks, Ruth. You've done well!

This has been a delightful Fiber Femmes Sip n' Skein Swap; I only hope my partner likes hers as much as I like mine. Deneen, you should receive your box of goodies on Monday or Tuesday.

Fiber on, Femmes!

This has been an awesome swap and the Fiber Femmes that I swapped to and received from are wonderful people. I think we need to do another swap for spinning fiber!

I came home from my 2 week jaunt to Missouri and found a wonderful box with great blue merino/angora yarn in it. With some also very wonderful blackberry tea. OOOOOO - thanks so much Leslie - I'm almost done with a long lacy scarf/stole.

This was such a great idea.

I recieved a beautiful skein of hand spun yarn from Karen in Loveland, CO and some tea. At the time of the swap, I had just begun spinning and my yarn was pretty lumpy. I have yet to dye any although I do have the koolaide ready to go. I think by the next swap I will be able to send some "home-made" yarn to my swap mate.
