Prayer Journal Swap

2017 will be here before we know it! I like to start my year out with a fresh prayer/thought journal. Lets do something special for our partner to help them with their devotions/ prayers.

Go to the Dollar store/ Hobby Lobby/Michaels and purchase a blank journal for your partner. Don't spend more than $3 tops. Then, you can decorate the inside. Write some verses on some of the pages, maybe your favorite quote about prayer, or inspiration, or happy thought of the day. You will decorate at least 10 pages of this journal. Stickers, stamps, cut outs. Whatever your favorite art medium is, do it! Don't stress if you aren't artsy (like me) as long as you make it pretty and something that your partner looks forward to writing her thoughts, prayers etc in, it will be fine! Look at her profile and choose her favorite color/ style, etc. It should be at least 5 by 7, but doesn't need to be as big as a spiral notebook or composition journal, just something they can keep in or near their Bible.

Finally, we will send this to the partner wrapped in Christmas paper as a present to them. Don't make it Christmas themed, as it is for the new year.
