This is a Pay It Forward Letter/Email Swap.We have all at one time or other done something nice for someone else.In this swap when you receive your partners name you will send them and email.Ask them what good deed you could do for them.This is not meant to be a $ amount swap.The idea is to send them say a letter,postcard,packet of seeds(in lieu of a flower)angel pin ect. The idea is that there are days when we feel lonely or a little blue.Getting something in the mail can turn that day around.When we look at it or touch it,it will remind us and put a smile on our face.You will include a letter with the good deed.Donations to say cancer research,american heart association ect will also be accepted. You would still send a letter letting your partner know that you did the good deed.When sending a donation please remember that to donate it in your partners name. Newbies and those with good ratings are welcomed.Lets make someones day a little brighter.

So when you say "Ask them what good deed you could do for them" do you mean that your partner will reply with a request for herself, like "Send me an angel pin" or with a more altruistic request like "Donate $10 to the AHA in my name."

I had this same idea and very nearly started the swap for it yesterday but couldn't figure out how to explain it properly.

Yes thats it.Although the donation should be no more then $5 to $10...The idea is to do something nice for someone.An Angel Pin(to me) represents someone watching over you.Everyone well most I'm sure love flowers.Sending them a packet of seeds they can grow in there garden or even a pot can make you smile.You could send them something you have made.

You could donate something you don't need to a charity shop.The possibilities are endless but do be sure to make it realistic.For instance i live in MO so i couldn't spend a day doing something with marine life.I do volunteer a night a week with a soup kitchen.

When you email your partner let them know what types of good deeds you do now or could do.That would probably be helpful.Hope all this helps a bit more.I'm not sure if I'm explaining it properly either.

I've not receive any emails from my partner.... if u have sent an email to me, i guess i might not have received it, gmail likes to eat my emails sometimes... I apologise to that. Please resend an email to me. Thanks
