Description:

OK so I am a bit early... but what else are you going to do these cold damp days? Start Spring Cleaning now!

Collect 15 butterflies or butterfly related items your partner can use to create wonderful things. You may check your partner's profile but it's not required.

Some suggestions to send are;

pretty papers/card stock (at least 2½ x 3½)

stickers

die cuts

buttons

sequins

ribbons or lace

Washi samples (at least 18" per sample)

stamped images (on paper again at least 2½ x 3½)

cancelled stamps

ephemera

Your items are not limited to those I have listed (if you have more suggestions please leave them in the comments.)

No more than 3 of the same item. Nothing soiled. Nothing wrinkled (unless it is supposed to be).

This is a chance for you to trade off some of the things you will never use for something you might use.

As always I reserve the right to excuse anyone that may alter the success of this swap or spoil the fun of the other participants.

(The picture above is the one I did for a swap some time ago and is not the one I will be sending out this time....just so you know.)

Please keep in mind postage has gone up to 49¢ for the 1st ounce and each additional ounce costs 21¢. 70¢ is not a high price to pay for some lovely new (to you) things to work with. Obviously it will be more expensive if you have an international partner.

Let's have a happy swap! I am hosting similar swaps with other groups and will angel if need be.

Can I get you to clarify this?

stamped images (on paper again at least 2½ x 3½)

If you have a butterfly stamped image 2.5 x 3.5 it is as large as a ATC is allowed. Is that what you meant? They need the images to be as big or bigger than an ATC?

That size will work fine for a journal but not an atc.

I meant the paper you used to stamp on needs to be at least that large. Getting a lovely stamp on a very small scrap can be limiting in its use. This way your partner can use it as background for an ATC or fussy cut it for use other places.

That now makes total sense. I was not reading it correctly or as you intended.
