Description:

The March 2017 Fandom in a Mini Bag swap is Pushing Daisies.

Step 1: Please list in the comments your favorite characters, episodes, moments, or any other preference you may have.

Step 2: After partners are assigned, check to see what your partner likes. You can follow-up with a message if you need to know more. Then scrounge up, buy, and/or create items that fit in a bag. Your bag must contain at least 5 different types of items although more is certainly encouraged. (PLEASE try to make it look full). Different types of items means 5 ATCs, 3 pins, 2 postcards would be 10 items but only 3 different types. The swap requirement is for 5 different types in a bag.

Some ideas of themed items: stickers, ATCs, postcards, toys/action figures, comics, note cards, pins/buttons, magnets, jewelry, trading cards, legal music CDs, charms, ornaments, bookmarks, address labels, plushies/stuffies, promo stills/autograph cards, fanfic drabbles/ficlets, etc.

More specific ideas: pie recipes, a pop-up-book by Emerson, cheese guide, etc.

Be sure to check your partner's profile so you don't send anything he or she might be allergic to.

Step 3: Put the items in a ziplock-type bag. Size: 1 quart (AT LEAST 8.5inches by 7 inches or 21.5cm by 18cm). You can decorate the bag or incorporate the bag into something (mount it or sew something around it). If you want to make or buy a bag instead of using a ziplock plastic one, that's fine as well, but it should be at least a quart in size. All items you gather or create should fit into the bag (if a couple are too big, that's fine).

Assemble your bags during the month and please send by the deadline (March 31)

Group rating rules apply. NO FLAKING ALLOWED! Flakers will be thrown off a cruise ship.

This was such a fun, clever show. I thought it would be appropriate to time a swap for it to overlap with Pi Day, in case you need inspiration!

I love the writing, pacing, and overall colorful look of the show. Love Jim Dale's narration. Love all the characters. Love the intense but separated romance. Love the whole concept. And the dog. I also love pies!

Honestly, I'd love to see you get creative with this one.

At first I was like noooo, I can't afford another swap right now ... but then I thought F**k it, it's Pushing Daisies! So yeah, joining.

I love the colourfulness of it all. I love all the characters (my absolute favourites are Emerson and Olive, and the sisters, and Ned, and Chuck, and ... oh hell, one simply can't choose between these guys! But Olive is badass and Emerson is the the comeback king, and the sisters are who I aspire to be when I grow old). I love all the writing, how it's narrated, how it's filmed. I love the clothes, the details, the playfulness of it. And dude, it's about pies. I just ... yeah. It's basically such a brilliant show, with so many good quotes and characters and damnit, why did they have to end it after only two seasons?
