Playing Card Mini Book - USA only

PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY BEFORE JOINING THIS SWAP

Last year for my husband's birthday, I made a "52 Reasons I Love You" book out of a deck of playing cards. (you can find a pic of it on my Flickr) And recently I participated in an altered playing card swap. So this morning I was thinking about creating a new swap and thought combining the 2 would be fun.

You will make an altered playing card book for ONE partner. Please use only 13 cards from the deck and please use only a SINGLE suit, Ace through King. The letter or number of the card must be visible. You are welcome to use whatever mediums you prefer; painting, collage, etc. (a sticker on a playing card is NOT an altered playing card and is NOT acceptable)

The cards can all be different or there can be a unifying theme to them...that's up to you, the sender. It would be lovely to check your partner's profile for likes and dislikes but it is not necessary. Do please use at least one book ring or something equivalent to keep the cards in a book-like manner. A word or motivational phrase would be awesome...similar to the picture above.

I will angel for this swap, however, if I have to angel for this swap, the bad sender will be banned from all future swaps. We should all be adults here...capable of communicating if we will be late or if there is a problem. I'm sorry if I sound like a b*tch but I just don't have patience for flakey swappers.

I am not opening this swap to newbies or anyone with less than 4.98 rating. Absolutely no 3s or 1s in the last 3 months. You must have at least 10 Type 3 swaps completed and rated.

If you receive a swap that meets the requirements, IE: 13 playing cards of a single suit that are altered, please rate a 5. We all have different levels of artistic ability.

I expect swappers to put some thought and care into this project and am giving quite a long time to get it accomplished.

This swap is USA only due to postage costs. If you are outside the US and are interested in this swap, I give permission to copy it for your region.

EDIT March 15: I had a question about whether we should be altering both sides of the cards or just the side with the numbers and letters. I had envisioned just the number side but you are welcome to do both sides if you choose.
