Description:

Send one free/ad card that you have received from an advertiser/campaign/theatrecandidate to one partner, you may need to alter it a bit.

  1. So, take that ad for sales at the Gap, or Pella windows or election campaigning from the recycling pile (make sure it's clean),
  2. Optional: cut it down (you may want to consider this if it was a 6 x 10 campaign postcard that would cost you first class postage)
  3. Optional light altering: you can add a quote or some collage element, but most of it should be the original ad.
  4. Find a way to cover your address and make it obvious for the postal workers where it is going (maybe "glue" a white rectangle where you write the address? or use a plain color sticker?) and that it has new postage. You might need to put a blank sticker on to have a clear space for the address.
  5. Include at least your swap-bot name, "swap-bot" and the swap name have to be somewhere in the card also. There might not be room for a message.
  6. Mail naked, not in an envelope.

This must be a card that was sent to you free advertising (or campaigning) or a reminder that a theatre show is opening, ... This is NOT what you might pick one up at a coffee shop, cinema, library, or tourist information center.
