Description:

What can you make with a Cigar Box?

For this swap you will embellish a GENUINE Cigar Box. Please DO NOT use boxes you get at craft stores, you can buy cigar boxes for around $2 anywhere cigars are sold, some are even free.

What you make out of it is up to you. You can make a purse, a jewelry box, a shrine or even a cigar box guitar (http://cigarboxguitars.com/workshops/HowToBuildACBG.php), what can you come up with?

Please try and contact your swap partner first to get an idea of her tastes because for example she may love or hate getting a frog themed purse. :)

Suggested total cost is $20.

tips for removing cigar smell from box, leave any one of these items in the cigar box for a few days: -Baking soda in a cupcake paper -Bounce dryer sheet -Piece of charcoal -Coffee Beans -Printed newspaper

Should the cigar box be wood or cardboard or does it not matter.....Melissa

Hey Melissa, Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you I've been out of town. I've only ever seen REAL cigar boxes made of wood, please don't use cardboard or paper mache ones from a craft store. Thanks!
