Kids Love Mail Too #1 USA/CAN

My little 5 yo son needs to practice his writing, composition and drawing. And he LOVES mail. So, to get him to write and give him something to do this summer, let's swap!

You and your child (neighbour, relative, friend) ages 3-10 (or having abilities in that age range) will make an ATC or drawing and write a note/letter to your partner's kid. They should do their best artwork.

Adults may encourage younger ones to do mostly handdrawing to encourage development of hand-eye coordination. The adult can determine how much the child should write based on age and ability but the whole point is to encourage them to write as much as they can. It doesn't have to be done all at once.

Both the art and note should be sent in an envelope, addressed to the child, each each Sunday during the month of July. Since the month has started, this will be a short month with only 3 envelopes being sent on 16, 23, and 30 of July.

ETA: As the sign up date is short, you have until the 18th to send the first envelope. All mailings go to the same partner. Add your username somewhere for rating.

So that's one envelope per week containing an ATC or art and one note written by the child.

If the writing is a bit hard to read, please send a 'translation'. Kids can be encouraged to write back if they wish. The note/letter can be plain paper, a note card or whatever they wish. Doesn't have to be fancy. Please add your child's name to the comments. Otherwise it won't be obvious it's for them in the mailbox. They do love opening their own mail.

It would be helpful for everyone to leave a note in the comments section when they have sent each envelope. Just 'sent envelope 1' etc. will be fine.

Adult should have a well-filled out profile and no 3s in the last 6 months or 1s ever. Also required are 30 type two swaps or 15 type 3 swaps completed and rated or a decent combo of the two. I cannot require you to rate with a heart but I recommend it as children are involved. If you get something inappropriate or incomplete please let me know.
