This summer we are going on a Scavenger Hunt! You need to hunt down the items listed below and send them to your partner. Items can be in the language of your country or from the country where you are on holiday over the summer.

  1. Food Label - this could be from a tin of food or from a sweet/candy wrapper
  2. Map - this must be the size of a postcard or larger
  3. Ticket - concert ticket, parking ticket, any ticket as long as it has a date
  4. Postage stamp - new or used from home or holiday
  5. Magazine page in your language
  6. Photograph of something from your summer - person, place... anything
  7. Postcard - can be from your town or somewhere you are on holiday this summer
  8. Page of doodles - postcard size or larger
  9. Self Portrait - it doesn't have to be a painted work of art. You can use collage or get a child to draw you
  10. Lottery ticket or scratchcard from your country or where you are on holiday
  11. Shopping list - please write in your language and translate if this is not English

Hope you have fun collecting the items. Any questions please ask below or send me a message :-)

There is an international version of this swap in the WIYM group :-)

After much flaking in my past journal swaps, I only host swaps for established swappers who have been on the Bot at least 6 months or have been active in the past 6 months AND have done Type 3 swaps before. It's too much of a risk. I don't have all the time in the world to angel time intensive swaps and it's not fair on others in the swap not to receive one. Please don't join my swaps if you don't meet this criteria.

A couple of people have asked about no. 12, the bag as all of the other items are small and flat but no. 12 would mean they would probably need s bigger envelope just because of that one item. This is a really good point that I haven't thought of, so I am going to remove this item from the list so we can all send a normal envelope and pay a lot less postage.

This swap is really a cool idea. Sounds like a great fun :-)

I love things like this. If you can't find the swap you want, make your own :-)
