It's a painted rock !

This seems another craz going around with painting rocks. I have been doing this the past few years and found it to be fun to do and mostly to leave somewhere for someone to find.

This rock should have a design on it, not words like "Love" or "Success " but actual painted with a design in mind.

Any size you can easily mail to your swapper. You can keep it or give it away(not to your swapper) but outside somewhere. Keep it in your pocket, purse, car and when you remember it, place it!

If you are not familiar with doing this, check YouTube and Pinterest for ideas using paint that adheres to the rock and adding a fixer like a clear coating after it dried.

Sending it to one swapper. If you prefer to keep it in your own collection or garden etc. that's okay too. In rating it mention where you put it too, at home or away.

No one ratings - 3 ratings up to me as they are sometimes rediculous! Questions just ask!

There are several Facebook groups dedicated to this. I live in Sanilac County, MI and belong to the group.

The group asks that you put the following on the back of the rocks "Sanilac Rocks! Facebook"

Is it ok to send one of the rocks that I have painted with the above information written on the back?

I know that people are taking them on vacation and leaving them in other states.

I think it a good idea to put name of state you live in on back of rock. Good idea, thanks

Kinda sounds like the "Pet Rock" craz that was going around about 30 years ago

My son actually found two rocks while we were on vacation! One was in Hoover, AL in the flowerbed/median in front of Sam's club. The other was at Rickwood state park north of Birmingham, AL. It was placed just near the entrance to the caves there. He was elated to have found TWO!
