LBOE Sept: Altered Book Doll

I came across some interesting dolls a few weeks ago that were created from books, or using books. I was particularly intrigued by the use of small/ miniature books in dolls, as I had a set of miniature books as a kid that I always enjoyed without ever reading them. Something about tiny is just so adorable!

I have no tutorial for you, but some great starting places for ideas, including this Pinterest board that I set up with ideas -- sorry, many are on the darker side of themes, reflecting mainly what I found for examples.. This makes it a particularly adventurous swap, and it goes without saying that we probably need to be kind with ourselves & each other trying out new things, as well as experiment early (last one is a personal reminder)!
