Description:

Send a postcard bag to one partner.

The bag can be newly made by you or already established. These are similar to postage stamp bags except that MINT/UNUSED postcards are put into an envelope (or bag). Then you can take one or more postcards and add a few before sending the bag to the next person. Please add an address label to the bag. If could please check that your partner has not already signed/received it, should you be sending an established bag. There should be a variety of postcards, e.g. make sure there are no more than two touristy postcards.

How many postcards go in the bag?

wm 12/19/2017 #

start with at least 5

I've never made or exchanged one of these so just curious to ask...how many people does it typically travel to before returning to the original person? Is it about the same as a "label bag?" 5 or 6 people sign it in total?

That is indeed the irony of the whole thing. The only reason I'm hosting it is because I've constantly got someone's bag and feel guilty for keeping it. I've never (ever!) received my own bag back! I would agree, 5/6 people and then home.

Comments from anyone else?

The stamp bag I am sending out I was the 3rd person to get it. So it will probably make it home. If I send out in a swap I feel it has a better chance to be returned than if I just send random. Marc Lively
