Description:

I am continuing the Monthly Reading Challenge that I hosted last year. I had gotten a calendar from my library with a list of different books to read, not the titles but the types of book for each challenge. I wanted to do this so I figured some would like to join me and it also would give me an added incentive. Some are easy and I have already done them but I will try do one each month. I will give a month's time between sign up and completion as to allow you to find the correct book as some will be more difficult than others. This will be an electronic swap. You will read the correct book, then e-mail or PM your partner, state the author, title and a brief summary of the book and if you liked it or not. It doesn't have to be long. If you had trouble finding it and didn't finish the book that is fine, just send the info and your impressions so far. This is an easy swap open to everyone but please no flakers! Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Happy Reading! : Read a book that might make you cry. I love discovering new authors. You can read any genre, except of course cookbooks,(even if chopping onions for a recipe makes you cry that doesn't fulfill the requirement of the swap) LOL! Any questions please pm me or post here. Please if you have friends that would like this swap feel free to tell them

Mhhh... I think I'll pass this round. I am so not in the mood for the books that can make me cry right now.

I think I will pass on this one also, I really do not know any books I want to read & cry.

So long as rereads are okay, I can DEFINITELY find a book that will make me cry (again, lol)! :-)

But of course, if I manage to read a new-to-me book that makes me cry during the swap period, I'll write about it. :-)

Anything by Lurlene McDaniel or Jodi Piccoult always does it for me

Hmmm! Actually, how to know whether a book not yet read will do so?

I am passing this round also really don't want to read something that might make me cry

@RooBaRoo I think any Richard Paul Evans books would fill the bill, every one that I have read has made me cry or at least tear up. Happy New Year everyone!

@reader44ever re-reads are ok if you can't find a new one. Also please remember, you can still use a book if you haven't finished reading it.

Jodi Picoult has made me cry but I'm going to try and find someone I haven't read...
