RM: 12 Months of Tags - Feb: Red, Black, & White

This is the second in our 2018 year of altered tags. You may join all 12 or any one you wish - no need to be present for all! But the idea is that, at the end of the year, you should have a lovely collection of tags for 2018. :)

For this swap, you'll have 1 partner and create an altered manila tag for February. February's theme is red, black, and white. Use only these colours when creating your tag. Please note, the tags do NOT have to be Valentine's Day themed but if you want to go that route, feel free. Or, you know, if you want to do an anti-Valentine's Day tag, that's cool too. :) But ultimately, the only requirement is that the colours you use be red, black, and white. the subject matter itself is entirely up to you.

The Swap

Decorate a standard #5 shipping tag (4 3/4" x 2 3/8") with a pre-punched hole so the tags can be held together with a ring. If you don't have that size tag, you can cut one from heavy cardstock or tag-board.

The front may be altered in any way you wish - collage, mixed media, stamped, hand-drawn or painted, etc. Please put your best effort forward! The back should be altered as well, but does not have to be nearly as in depth or detailed as the front. Please sign the back too, with your name and the date.

The art is sender's choice, so you can start at any time - just remember the theme - red, black, and white!

Administrivia

• ONE altered #5 shipping tag, red,black, and white themed, to ONE partner.

• Ship flat and in a sturdy envelope so that it doesn't bend in transit.

• Be sure to include your username and swap name in the envelope.

• Send on time, rate promptly. If you're going to be late, communicate with myself and your partner. Late sends without communication perfectly warrant a 3. Flaking or not rating will have you removed from the group. Hearts are entirely up to the rater.

• I will angel on the off-chance that someone gets flaked on.
