This is my first time creating a swap so if I miss anything out (likely) feel free to ask questions :) After taking a quick look on this here glorious website, and failing to find pincushions, I have decided that they are of utmost importance and must be recognised! Your challenge is to make (or buy if you really want to take part) a pincushion. It should be cute and/or inspirational and it has to be something that you would be glad to have sitting in your room. Cute/inspirational can be in the actual shape and design of the pincushion or in the print of the fabric you use. Make sure you have fun!! This swap is international (postage should be reasonably cheap. You will have one partner who will receive one pincushion. Please don't put pins in the cushion! I don't think the postal service would like that too much if they found out... Everyone is welcome. Newbies have to start somewhere right?

This sounds like fun. If you want to put the image above on your site, you have to copy (Right Click and Hit Save Image) it to your hard drive and then upload it to your site from your computer.

I am making pincushion for all my friends (we are all fashion design majors, so it works) for Christmas. I will have lots of leftover supplies for this!!

To my partner ... something happened to my profile around November 22. I have contacted the site admins to see if they can restore it. Haven't heard anything. It was a very detailed profile. Thought you might want to know that my favorite colors are oranges and yellows. I don't care for pink, purple, and black. Geometric or really graphic prints are awesome. I plan to use my pincushion for various needles as well as t-pins. Looking forward to seeing your creation!

My pincushions are ready to mail!! Made two, so I would have a choice which to send. They were both ute, so POP - in the envie they go. I sur hope my partner likes them!
