Description:

You will send one partner one ATC which you will make using the following steps. Some steps require specific TH material to be used and are in bold text so be sure you have them!

1 Grab or make a white or manila colored ATC blank from your stash.

2 Use any TH paper material that has a face on it and adhere well to your ATC. You may use a stamped image but note that the image will get wet so use something like archival ink and heat it up to set it and use good paper that won't turn to mush when wet.

3 Use at least four different colored distress crayons and color your entire ATC (including image) in any pattern or intensity you wish.

4 Get your finger slightly wet and rub/smudge each color around independently (i.e. don't mix them together too much). Repeat this step until you're happy with the result, ideally the crayon strokes will not be visible and colors may slightly mix where they're touching.

5 Use heat tool or some other method to completely dry your ATC.

6 Take a baby wipe or slightly damp cloth and wipe color off your image.

7 Use any TH layering or mini stencil and place over one portion of colored area (not whole ATC). Use baby wipe or slightly damp cloth to wipe over the stencil to remove color.

8 Use any other TH layering or mini stencil and place over either whole ATC or a different portion of colored area. Use baby wipe or slightly damp cloth to wipe over the stencil to remove color.

9 Use any coordinating TH material to create a border around the ATC. This can be distress ink, washi tape, distress embossing powder, distress glitter, distress marker, etc. Just giving some ideas.

10 Attach a sturdy backing to your ATC which includes at least the ATC title, your username, and date.

I hope to host more of these but need to know what TH products everyone owns, so please comment on this thread.

If you have any questions, sending a pm is the quickest way to reach me. I do try to check for comments on my swaps but sometimes I am not timely :-/

If there any issues with your partner following steps please inform @choke before rating down. I think it is common sense that there is always a chance that the steps were misinterpreted so some graciousness should be allowed here.

As always I will angel if you are flaked on but only if you have rated your partner a 1.
