This is SO FUN!

Credit for this idea goes to @LMewokin and @btbeth . I saw their swaps last year and saved them for when I had time do it.

  • Create a surprise ball for your partner. Don't know what one is? Try this blog or this You Tube video. Basically you need crepe paper and goodies to hide in it.

  • This one IS PROFILE BASED so be sure to read your partner's profile! Don't send items from their dislike list!

  • Please use at least 2 colors of crepe paper. This can easily be picked up at a dollar store for cheap.

  • Enclose at least 5 gifts for your partner. Two of them MUST be kawaii! I'm thinking a mini memo pad, new washi or deco tape rolls, a cell phone charm, keychain, maybe sticker flakes carefully placed so they don't bend too much. The other items may be profile based as long as they are small enough to wrap up in our balls.

  • NOTHING TOO BIG. A sticker sheet won't really work for this as it bends too much. Think small gifts!

  • New or like new items only please! Don't roll up 4 sticker flakes and count that as 1 of your gifts. At least 25 Sticker Flakes to count as 1 gift. Be generous and send what you'd like to recieve!

  • Don't send all one kind of item either. Mix it up! No one wants a ball with only sticker flakes inside. (Well, maybe me because I like stickers.) Variety is the spice of life!

  • The ball should be at least 4-5 inches across. Think softball sized or a large grapefruit. I'm going to try to mail mine in a 6x6x6 inch box and it will probably fill the box up.

  • Decorate the outside of the ball somehow. Kawaii sticker flakes if all else fails, get creative if that's your thing.

  • Package well, in a box. No padded envies for this one! Don't forget a swap-card or note to let your partner know who it's from.

Swappers in good standing are fine. If you are late on your swaps or haven't signed in all week you will be booted.

Ooh wish I was confident enough for this one! Sounds like lot of fun!

These really are not hard, I promise! You just get a few SMALL profile based surprises and a few kawaii goodies and some crepe paper. Start with the biggest item for the center and roll it up in a good length of paper. Then add another goody and more paper. Repeat until it's as big as you want.

Here's a pic of the one sent to me last time:

First layer of papers off, a mini kawaii letterset. The kindle was not included lol:

Second layer down was a sticker sheet. I don't recommend something that long for this swap, but after I put it under a book for a few days it's fine:

Third layer was a kawaii keychain:

Fourth was a cute packet of kawaii envies:

And last was a cute pair of tiny deer, an eraser doll, and a packet of beads in my favorite color. My daughter promptly stole the deer for herself:
