O: HMPC - Beach, Ocean, or Nautical Themed

For this swap, we'll be creating a handmade postcard for our partner. The postcard should be 4x6 - bigger is up to you - and feature some sort of homage to the spirit of this group. It can be ocean, marine life, nautical, or beach themed.

You may sew/quilt, collage, stamp, draw, or paint your postcard. No sticker slapping or cutting a scene from a magazine and gluing it to cardstock though. Put your best creative foot forward for this!

On the back, write your partner a note about what inspired your art! Send nakey please!

In a Nutshell:

• 1 HMPC to 1 partner

• Create a HMPC that depicts a seascape, marine life, nautical, or beach theme. You may draw, paint, collage, sew, or stamp out your design but please NO STICKER SLAPPING.

• This is sender's choice so you can start creating now and have it ready to go when partners are assigned!

• Your postcard must be at least 4x6" and include a note on the back about what inspired your art.

• It must be created using a sturdy backing that will stand up to the artistic media you've chosen to use.

• Include the swap name as well as your username on the back of the postcard. Yes, this is a requirement...

• Send on time. Rate promptly upon receipt. Sending late without communication warrants a 3 rating and removal from the group. Not rating or having to be chased for a rating also warrants removal from the group. Communicate and rate.

• Rate according to the Swap-Bot Rating Criteria. Failure to rate your partner or to rate correctly will result in your removal from this group.

• If you are going to be late sending, make sure you let your partner and me know prior to the send-by date.
