Literary Wisdom #12

For this swap, you will send your partner a book-related postcard with "literary wisdom" written or printed on it. I'm not just talking about any ol' quote from a book, but a quote from any fictional or poetic work that enlightens, inspires, or shows us the way.

Please note--the quote may not come from sacred texts, such as the Bible, Qur'an, Torah, Pali Canon, etc. Those books are filled with wisdom and enlightenment. The quote must come from a creative work--poetry, novels, short fiction, etc.

The literary wisdom does not have to be professionally printed on the front of the postcard. Any store-bought book-related postcard may be used. However, if you are sending a card that does not have a "pre-printed" literary messages, you must share the wisdom as part of the message you write on the back.

The postcard must be store-bought and should be sent naked, unless you fear its mutilation through postal travel.

Be sure to review your partner's profile for preferences and add a personal touch to the message on back. Don't just drop a quote on the back and leave it at that. Also, say "Hi!" and tell your partner where the quote comes from--title and author.

In short, one store-bought, book related postcard to one partner that shares literary wisdom.
