Description:

For this swap you'll be sending your partner 4 embellishment clusters made from a variety of materials you have on hand.

HERE is a YouTube video--more for inspiration and ideas. I read through the comments at the bottom of this video and people posted some other great ideas about what to add into clusters--sequins, buttons, etc. I don't know about you, but I always find something new to try besides the subject of the tutorial; I love the way this presenter organizes her scraps and I'm going to try that, too!

This is a great way to use up scraps from other projects or create embellishments that match a larger project you might be creating, such as a journal, flipbook, or pocket letter (soon to come ;+)

Let's shoot for at least 5 elements on each cluster. Color and theme is sender's choice.

Have fun!

I just loved this video and the ideas. Towards the end I really liked that she stated a person just needs a small flat surface and could be done while binge watching.

Me too! I actually brought in one of those little foldable tables from the garage and got some elements together this afternoon. She's very energetic in her presentation and I was able to understand her Aussie accent (I think it's Aussie, at least!)

This looks fun! I'm going to have to buy some of those containers to sort my scrap stuff like she does. I never thought to do it by color!

I've thought about it but thought it might be too much trouble! They have good deals on amazon for a group of those plastic containers. With prime, it's free shipping, too.

I just went to Dollar Tree and bought 6 of their clear plastic containers with kids. They're the size of a shoe box and can stack.

Lids. Not kids.

Wow . . . that's better than any price amazon has.

I made these today! So fun, and now I'm hooked, so I'll be making more!

Awesome! I haven't started yet...we're they fun to create or hard?

I thought they were fun. I didn't do a lot of thinking through beyond trying to use a variety of colors and or themes. I think most of mine are larger than the ones shown in the tutorial, but there are some small ones too.
