Description: | |
Send your one partner two linen postcards in an envelope. Linen postcards were produced between 1931 and 1950. Comic military-themed linens were very popular among the troops during WWII. The Teich Company alone produced tens of thousands of different scenic and city views. They are very distinctive with a cloth-like or raised surface and with bright colors. They are much more attractive than the postcards produced in later decades, Most I've seen were "standard size" that is 3Β½ x 5Β½ inches. I have a few that were printed in Latin America but most were printed in the U.S. and Canada. Send two in an envelope to one partner. Sender's choice. They may have been previously mailed but must be in very good condition, no junk! |
