Pen Pal for a Month

Years ago I was in a similar swap, and until today it is one of my favourites. So I want to revive it. ^^

For this swap you will have one partner. Over the course of four weeks you will write your partner four letters, one for each week.

You can introduce yourself, tell your partner about the place where you live, your hobbies, your family, profession, whatever you want. Give your partner a glimpse into your life. Each letter should be at least two pages (not notebook size, I mean large pages). Letters can be handwritten or, what I prefer, typed.

You can send each letter individually, so your partner will get a letter from you every week. Or you can send them all at once at the end of the four weeks.

Along with the letters you will send little gifts, too. Don't worry about postage, it's absolutely okay to send flat items that fit into an envie.

For each week you will send the following:

WEEK 1: Something that represends you. This can be a pc from your hometown, your favourite beauty product or craft item, a picture of you, whatever you want. For this week's gift you don't need to check your partner's preferences, it's sender's choice.

WEEK 2: Send a drink sachet. Tea, coffee, hot cocoa, kool aid... Please check your partner's profile for preferences.

WEEK 3: This week you will craft something. You can make an ATC, a little cross stitch, a teeny tiny amigurumi, make a piece of jewelry, crocheted barefoot sandals... The possibilities are endless. ;) Please put all your effort into this craft. Send something you're proud of.

WEEK 4: The last gift to send is a profile based surprise.

Though you don't need to send big items nor spend a lot of money on it, please don't just send a sheet of cheap stickers or something. Send something you would love to receive.

When the four weeks have past and you have received your four letters, you might have found a new pen pal. Feel free to reply. ;)

Before signing up, keep in mind that this is a time consuming swap! I f you're unsure if you could do a swap over this long period, don't sign up!
