THC: 10 step ATC challenge #9

You will send one partner two ATCs which you make using the following steps. Some steps require specific TH material to be used and are in bold text so be sure you have them!

1 Grab two light colored or white ATC blanks.

2 Choose your favorite TH layering stencil and place on top of one of the ATCs.

3a. Choose a light colored distress or distress oxide ink and use blending tool to apply ink over stencil

OR

3b Choose a light colored distress paint and dab lightly over the stencil.

4 Lift the stencil and lightly mist the inked or painted side with water. Press down on to the 2nd ATC from step 1. Now you should have the start of 2 ATCs, one using the stencil the "normal" way and one using the stencil the "reverse" way. Make sure both are dry before continuing to step 5.

5 Choose your 2nd favorite TH layering stencil and place on "normal" ATC.

6 Repeat step 3a OR 3b with a slightly darker color. Feel free to use paint if you used ink before and vice versa. Then repeat step 4 on the "reverse" ATC.

7 One more time, choose another TH layering stencil, pick your distress ink, oxide ink or paint, apply normally to the one ATC and mist the back to apply the reverse way to the other ATC.

8 For the "normal" ATC, finish it off in your normal TH inspired way.

9 For the "reverse" ATC, use your imagination to finish off the ATC in a TH inspired reverse way.

10 Attach a sturdy backing to your ATCs which includes at least the ATC title, your username, and date. Send both ATCs to your partner.
