IS: art challenge fun

On Facebook there is a fun Dutch group that regularly does a live art-challenge session called ‘kaartjesavond’ which means ‘cardsnight’. The host randomly picks a card with an assignment and gives a time-limit. That makes it hysterical:) We all post ‘’proof’’ of our progress for each assignment. Assignments are for example: use printed text, use bubble wrap, use paint in your favorite colours, use washi, write illegible, doodle and so on. Most do it in their artjournal but I have tried ATC’s, bookmarks and envelopes and that’s also a lot of fun. So I wanted to try something like this for a swap.

After assigning partners I will pick seven cards with assignments and post them here. It’s senders choise so you can choose if you make a bookmark, an ATC, a postcard, an envelope or something else you think of.

I will mention the time-limit but of course I cannot check:)

Edit October 7th: 1. use paint(markers) in your favourite colours (10 min) 2. use printed text (5 min) 3. use numbers (in print, of a stencil or just write or paint) (7 min) 4. Write illegible ( 4 min) 5. Use washi (3 min) 6. Use a magazine image/photo/illustration that you love (10 min) 7. Make a border around your work (5 min)

You are not limited to the seven assignments because sometimes the result is more like a background and needs just a little more of a focus.
