Description:

BEFORE WE BEGIN THIS A LONG TERM COMMITMENT & HIGH QUALITY SWAP

- Please take your time and enjoy adding your entries, even if its your own journal make sure your partner would love to receive what you are sending. You can decorate your journal pages with stickers, doodles, pictures, color, postcards or send little goodies it’s completely optional.

- If you don't want to be a part of this swap for 20 or more rounds

- If you are not willing to commit to spending over $50 in postage by the time it is all over.

- If a year is too long to wait to finish a swap & get your journal back.

This swap is a COMMITMENT, and if you can't follow through with the guidelines above, then perhaps you should pick another swap. I'm sorry to be blunt, but I also want to be honest, and up-front to protect the swappers who do join.

JOINING THIS SWAP DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU WILL EVER SEE YOUR JOURNAL AGAIN. THIS IS A HIGH RISK SWAP, JOIN AT YOUR OWN RISK..

HOW THIS WORKS FOR FIRST ROUNDERS

  1. If this is your first round: Find a journal/notebook/comp book with at least 80 pages and No Spiral Bound, they get crunched by the post machines.

  2. On the inside of front cover write who the journal belongs to: THIS INCLUDES YOUR SWAP NAME

  3. On the back page or the inside of back cover write your name & address and where to send the journal home when it is full.

  4. Write a bio about yourself, at least one page

  5. Write one journal entry about your day, yourself, your thoughts, life, the world, a complete meltdown what ever comes to mind (All of the above), more than a page

  6. Write one journal prompt for your swap partner to answer.

That’s it: Send it off to your partner on or before the send date. WITH TRACKING NUMBER

NOT YOUR FIRST ROUND

  1. Answer the prompt your partner has provided. at least one page

  2. Add your bio. at least one page

  3. Add your journal entry. more than a page

  4. Add a prompt for your journal partner to answer.

That’s it: Send it off to your partner on or before the send date. WITH TRACKING NUMBER

HOW TO RATE SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO MORE CONFUSION, THIS IS MANDATORY.

  1. Bio’s must be at least 1 page or more

  2. Journal Entry must be at least 1 page or more

  3. A journal prompt Please don’t forget to add one

  4. Post on or before the send date WITH TRACKING NUMBER No more late swaps & if you are please contact your partner

Swapping late and not contacting your partners not only slows the next round up but also worries your swap partners who have signed up for the next round

  1. Mailing, please DO NOT POST AS MEDIA MAIL, it causes issues, your swap being sent back or your partner having to pay for your swap due sending wrong.

If the above 5 points have been sent to you correctly mark a 5. If entries are shorter than a page or postage is late with out contact on reason why rate a 3. If you receive nothing rate a 1 and let me know because I track the travels of all our journals and who they are with at current standings.

OTHER WONDERINGS:

IF YOU RECEIVE YOUR OWN JOURNAL BACK

Please follow these steps:

  1. Skip the Bio Portion & Write About A Day In Your Life.

  2. Decorate A Page Anyway You Wish (stickers, doodles, wash tape, scrapbook or add pictures).

  3. Add Your Journal Prompt.

SWAP QUALIFICATIONS

- Must be rated for at least 10 Type 3 Swaps

- Rating 4.95 or higher

- Well filled out profile

I will be going through everyone's ratings, etc, to check over and prevent any issues or flakers on this swap. ----- ANY suspicious swappers will be removed. I have the final word. I'll be fair, but I'll be strict.

You will have two weeks to send out your journal. Feel free to PM me if there are any questions. I will also angel if needed, but please only sign up if you are willing to participate, nobody likes a flaker

MOVING ON AND FORWARD: SWAPPERS LETS BE ACCOUNTABLE, PLEASE COMMENT BELOW ON THE SWAPPERS JOURNAL YOU CURRENTLY HOLD IN EACH ROUND, 'TIL THE VERY END. AND BE ENTERED TO WIN A GIFT CARD!
