Not Your Average Gift Swap

The Deets

You will purchase at least three gifts for your swap partner from local-to-you businesses. These gifts will be wrapped festively and placed into a trackable package (Flat rate box, padded envelope, etc.). You'll also include a holiday card (the card itself does not have to come from a local business - you can use one you already have on hand).

Wait, What do I do again?

• Purchase at least 3 gifts from local-to-you businesses. These gifts can be from local artisans, little boutiques, or any non-chain/franchise store that is unique to your city/town. Items cannot be made in China.

• Wrap the gifts festively.

• Include a card. Card does not have to be purchased locally. It would be nice to include a little info on at least one place you purchased gifts from. Not required - just nice!

• Remember these are gifts! Please do not include ornaments and other holiday decorations, unless they are extras.

• Send with tracking. This means your gifts should be big enough to fill up at least a small flat rate box, or a nice, large, padded envelope.

• Do not send items on your partner's "Dislikes" list. Other than that, think (buy) outside the box!

• Must have completed at least 15 Type 3 swaps in the last 6 months.

• Must have signed on to Swap-Bot within 24 hours of partners being assigned.
