Send a mixed cd of world music to your swap partners (2). The only other rule is that no more than two songs on the cd from any single country. Hopefully this will make us all dig a little further and find some new things for ourselves as well as our partners to enjoy.

In the track list please include, song name, artist and the country of origing.

about how many tracks (songs) should we put on the cd?

Hmm let's say a minimum of 12 tracks. If the songs are too long and you end up with 10 or 11 and a full cd that's ok too.

If it is 12 tracks then we need 6 different countries which could be kind of a stretch. Is it okay if we have at least 6 different artists, with a few from the same country? I'd rather make a world music mix of stuff people probably don't know instead of adding things like Buena Vista Social Club (which I assume most people have) for the sake of adding another country.

i honestly think i could come up with 12 different tracks from 12 different countries, my music collection is that random. this one was a great idea, by the way...

I just had my wisdom teeth removed, and I'm too embarassed to go to the post office looking like a chipmunk. I'll go tomorrow because the swelling should be down. I apologize for not having sent them out sooner.
