Description:

Remember whimsy jar swaps? Here's a springtime twist on that old favorite swap for fairy lovers!

Create a fairy garden kit in a pot for your partner. Use a flower pot and stuff it full of fun “stuff” for your partner to create their own mini fairy garden. Please include at least five (5) items. You can choose from the idea list or come up with your own ideas, but you must include one (1) handmade item.

IDEA LIST:

Tiny mushrooms/toadstools or flowers

Ladybugs, butterflies, dragonflies, snails

Small bag of moss or little rocks

Fairy door, fence or tiny garden tools

Little birdhouse—makes a cute fairy house

Sign or tiny banner for the garden

Mini bottle of fairy dust

A thimble makes a cute flowerpot

Mini garden glazing ball

FUN STUFF: Create a fairy garden kit for your partner using a flower pot and including five (5) items; one of which must be handmade. This is not meant to be an expensive swap. Of course, you can buy the items(dollar stores are now carrying fairy garden supplies); but don't be afraid to think outside of the box and create your own!!

NOT SO FUN STUFF: NO late sends. The send by date is a month away, so you can start now. Rate fairly & promptly. Send something you would like to receive yourself.

This is such a cute idea!! What size pot are you thinking? Are these really for inside, or do they need to be weather resistant?

Sorry, just saw your post. The size and type of pot is up to the sender.
