Description:

This ATC swap is for those who like to paint!

Rules are:

  1. It must be hand painted. No other medium is to be used.

  2. It must have some sort of connection to a peacock. It doesn't have to be the whole bird. It can be one feather, the head, the tail etc. Just make it so the viewer recognizes that it has to do with a peacock.

  3. It does not have to be a realistic style of painting... It can be abstract, splatter paint. water colours, etc. Nor does it have to follow traditional colours. If you can pull off a pink peacock and make it look good then go right ahead. We are artists, so let's get artsy! (This is senders choice).

  4. You will have 1 partner and you will do one ATC for your partner. This is international so keep that in mind if you are going to join up.

I am going to give a few weeks to do this because we all know that painting can take some time sometimes.

Please rate a 5 if the rules are followed and you received it on time. Remember that not all art styles are liked by all and that not everyone is a professional painter. So even if it is not your style or cup of tea, please rate fairly.

Everyone is invited to join (yes, newbies too!) and I can angel this if need be.

I will be hosting a similar swap for a painted greeting card as well, for those who wish to paint something a little bigger.

Hope you have fun!

Added Info:

An ATC is short for Artists Trading Card. It is a card that is 2.5" x 3.5" in size (the size of a usual playing card). It is usually made of card stock and can be hand drawn, decorated and embellished in any way you like. (except in this case it is paint only)

On the back of the card you should add the following: title of the card, your name, date created, how many in that series (for example if I were making 3 of them I would write 1 of 3 , 2 of 3 or 3 of 3) and the name of the swap that you are making it for.

An ATC is never sold, only traded. And if possible, you should send your ATC in a plastic trading card sleeve (found at hobby stores and some dollar stores too) to help protect the card.
