It's a beautiful day to create!!
Let's make a three page flip book with goodies to cheer up our mailboxes!

You will make a 3 page flipbook holding at least 6 goodies for your partner. Send more if you wish.

You will get one partner to create the flipbook for. Please make your actual pages that will be flipped somewhat study and secure :)
A flip book is like scrapbooked and creative pages that are fun to flip through and they hold some goodies on each page.
Just to make sure everyone gets the goodies they deserve, I will make one a requirement. Along with whatever else you want to send, you MUST send your partner three washi samples that are at least 12 inches.
The other things, as well as the theme, are sender's choice.

Rating: Rate your partner a 5 if they have decorated each page, given 3 washi samples and at least 5 other goodies.

Edit: Flip book pages should be no smaller than 4x6. Of course, you decide if you want yours to be more square or rectangle, so there's no specific requirement for size.

Here's a good youtube video to start with. The video is four panels, and for this swap it has to be at least 3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChP9Ajg_9Xk

So a flip book is like a greeting card but with a third flap. Not a book with pages? This looks fun!

Also, is there a certain size?

I've not created a flip book before........I hope I make it correctly! I'm going to research on YouTube, but if there is a video of a certain style let me know!!

Okay, I will edit the swap answering your questions in the morning. No particular size, but any one panel shouldn't be smaller than 4x6. It is more of a flap folding style :) it's works better with embellishments. @babyblues65 thank you for joining. YouTube is perfect for this! Just combine whatever styles you like :)

with saying flap style would an envelope flip book be ok?

danyelle15 04/17/2019 #

@ablev92 yes! I think that's a good idea. I will probably make one of my flaps an envelope. There are also cute ways to make a 'pocket' on a page by adhering a smaller piece of paper on three sides and an opening on top. Have fun with it!
