Let's enjoy Halloween!

For this swap, you will send your partner 2 simple Halloween themed items. Could be postcards, Washi tape samples (at least 2, 18" long), stickers, ATC papers (at least 3"x4") or something bigger if you'd like.

This is an international swap, so do consider what you're sending vs postage. Small flat items are cheapest.

1 partner, international. 4.98 rating or better. Newbies allowed with a well filled out profile. I should have to scroll to read your profile. I reserve the right to ban those with 1 or 3 ratings at my discretion.

I will angel.

Hello! I'm new on Swap-bot but an experienced swapper of cards, stamps, and chaincards. However I've never sent washi tape samples before - would someone mind explaining the best way to send the samples?

Hope it's ok that I answered this 😉 I take something sturdy and flat (lightweight thin plastic, or sturdy cardboard etc.) I wrap washi tape around it. With this swap each different style of washi tape you'd measure each to be 18" in length. I often will use cardboard so I can coordinate it to match the theme of the tape if possible for instance something spooky on this one. The idea is to be able to swap tape and not have to send a whole roll to the recipient. It also helps cut down on shipping costs. In the end you end up with a much larger stock yourself of washi tape instead of having a few rolls of a few designs you have a large inventory of multiple washi tape pieces to use.

😉

I wrap mine around plastic coated playing cards - usually the joker or other card not used in the set. Wrap the tape around and it remains thin to send. It won't stick to the card at all.
