Description:

Hi Everyone. I like to do projects that are a little (or a lot) outside of normal. A fun project I did last year for Easter was a banner made from mini envelopes strung on a cord. It was fun & adorable. So, I thought "how awesome one of these would be decorated for Halloween".

There will be 5 mini envies w/cards for your one partner. They can be various sizes (NO larger than 4" X 3"), and can be a mix of vertical or horizontal. Decorate the envie fronts with at least 3 embellishments (stamps, stickers, 3d embellies, etc). In this case, more is better. The cards inside should have a little sentiment, either stamped, sticker or hand written. The flaps can be sqaure, triangular, or a combination. **(A twist on the average rectangular envie shape is to make it trangular or 5 sided. The "P" site has some cute examples of these.) NOTE: The picture above was barrowed from Pinterest.

Supply a cord of some kind to string the envelopes on for display. Be sure the cord is plenty long enough for the full width of envies plus an extra 4-6 inches on both ends.

Mount the envelopes (with cards inside) by running the cord under the flap fold. Then secure the flap with washi tape, clear tape or a sticker. This should allow for the card sets to be stacked together (accordion style) for shipping.

Put your muses to work to help you make something that will put a smile on your swap partners face when they unwrap your contribution. Since this project will be "Sender's Choice", make it the way you would enjoy receiving it. But, please consult your partner's profile before making anything "adult oriented".

NOTE: This project can be "open theme". I used the seasonal term "spooky" because I know some cultures don't go with traditional holiday events. So as long as the project fits the required matrix, do whatever pleases you (eg: generic "love" always works, no matter what time of year it is).

Please use protective packaging in a sturdy envelope. Due to postage costs, this will be "regional/USA" only. There might be an international version in the future.

Please rate on time. If you receive an item that meets the swap requirements, even if you're not thrilled with it, please don't rate down. Remember, we were ALL newbies at one time.

If you don't receive your swap within 2 weeks of the "send" date, let me know & I will angel. And if you can't get your swap out on time, please please let your partner know that it will be delayed.

**I am allowing new "unrated" swappers. Newbies need some level 3 love too. Please contact me if you have any questions about the project.

Let's have some fun with this new project. I know I will.

Sounds fun! One question it says β€œspooky” So is this like for Halloween spooky? Joining just want clarification! Thank you!

I think since the description says "sender's choice" it may be free theme, and perhaps the title is just since it's the season. I'm not 100% sure though. If my partner likes Halloween I will make mine Halloween themed and if they don't I will choose a more fitting theme. Unless the host declares otherwise of course!

Actually I think it is Halloween themed since it says " So, I thought "how awesome one of these would be decorated for Halloween".!

Sorry I didn't get back to answering these questions. Family illness has had me distracted. This project can be "open theme". KOKOXO was right about the seasonal term "spooky". I know some cultures don't go with traditional holiday events, so as long as the project fits the required matrix, do whatever pleases you (eg: generic "love" always works, no matter what time of year it is), I look forward to swapping with you.
