Delicate Doilies

Thank goodness there's a month here. I'm so behind in emails and everything else. Atleast this is something I can take and work on while I wait for my kids to get out of school. lol

I received a beautiful multi color doily from Mutantpenguin. I also received a bunch of goodies with it. I got spoiled in this swap. Thank You So Very Much!!! I still have to go search my patterns for the one I want to make. I better get moving. lol I've been crocheting since I was probably 8 so it won't take long lol. My kids have been learning. They want to know how mommy can go so fast lol. Well I will be busy this weekend, my sister and niece are coming to visit. I have to put together a baby doll quilt for her bed and make a quilt block for another swap. I already have everything cut for the baby doll quilt all I have to do is sew and iron, sew and iron lol. It's Hello Kitty and I can't wait to see the finished product since I'm still new at quilting lol. Have a wonderful weekend HeatherS

I have no aptitude for sewing... I tried, believe me! But I can knit and crochet. And because I know lots of people do both, I went ahead and started the dishcloth/washcloth swap for either knit or crochet. And had one request for an international so maybe in June if this one and that one go well. I am sure your doily will be gorgeous! Don't forget to take a picture before you send it!

I am going out to my craft house tonight and find my patterns. Found my materials just have to find a pattern lol. Wish me luck! I just hope my partner has their favorite colors written down on their profile.

Thank you!! That's neat that you grew up in this area...I don't recognize the name but I graduated in 1967 so I'm quite a bit older than you. What year did your dad graduate?

Hello Mine is done, I will be sending it out later today after I take all of my kids to school. I haven't made anything crochet in years. lol Do a round rip out two do a round rip out one lol. Please let me know when it arrives.

Hi, sorry I didn't get mine out today. MIL called when I was driving youngest to school. I had to go over there and work on her vacuum while dad was gone getting his blood drawn. And headed home to clean my own house and forgot.
I'll try again tomorrow. Thank goodness the end date isn't here yet lol.

June is the last month of school for the girls so usually it's busy. We also have a couple of bday partys. I have a couple of dr. visits as far as they tell me. When? Ha I have no clue. I would love to do another but I won't sign up till I actually come back home from the hospital and maybe a week after that. So I'm thinking the end of July or Aug.

The thing that's going to suck the most is, while I'm not sending I'm not receiving either. lol But look out when I get back lol. The kids and I have a ton of things planned while I'm laid up so it's not like i won't be doing something besides sleeping lol.
